Effective Date: June 1, 2025 · Last Updated: June 2026
These Terms of Use govern participation in the Combined Continuous Cumulative Tabletop Tour & Jubilee Series ("CCCTTJS"), a program of The Venerable Seattle Ludographic Society ("VSLS"), and use of the cccttjs.org website. By registering for any CCCTTJS event or using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. Tournament Eligibility
CCCTTJS events are open to all individuals who:
- Complete the online registration process and pay any applicable entry fee.
- Agree to abide by the CCCTTJS Code of Conduct (described below).
- Are at least 13 years of age, or register with the consent of a parent or guardian.
VSLS reserves the right to refuse registration or remove a participant from any event for failure to meet these requirements or for violation of the Code of Conduct.
2. Entry Fees and Payment
- Entry fees, where applicable, must be paid at the time of registration via the payment method specified for each event.
- Cryptocurrency payments are recorded at the USD equivalent at the time the transaction is detected on-chain. VSLS is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations between payment initiation and confirmation.
- Entry fees are used to cover event costs and support VSLS's charitable mission.
3. Refunds and Cancellations
- Participant cancellation: Registrations cancelled more than 7 days before an event may be eligible for a refund at VSLS's discretion. No refunds are issued for cancellations within 7 days of the event.
- Event cancellation by VSLS: If VSLS cancels an event, registered participants will receive a full refund of their entry fee or the option to roll their registration to the next available event.
- Disqualification: Participants removed from an event for Code of Conduct violations are not entitled to a refund.
4. Code of Conduct
CCCTTJS is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive experience for all participants. All participants agree to:
- Treat fellow players, volunteers, and organizers with respect.
- Abide by the official rules of each game played in the series.
- Refrain from cheating, collusion, or any conduct intended to manipulate results.
- Follow the instructions of VSLS organizers and venue staff.
- Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind.
Violations may result in removal from the event and suspension from future events, at VSLS's sole discretion.
5. Series Scoring and Results
- Series standings are calculated based on cumulative results across all events in a given cycle, according to the scoring rules published on this website.
- All rulings by VSLS organizers during an event are final. Post-event score corrections may be made by VSLS in cases of verifiable administrative error.
- Published results become part of the permanent CCCTTJS record and are not removed except in extraordinary circumstances at VSLS's discretion.
6. Prizes
- Prizes, where offered, are described in the specific event announcement. VSLS makes no guarantee of prize availability beyond what is stated in that announcement.
- Prize winners must claim prizes within 30 days of notification. Unclaimed prizes are forfeited and returned to VSLS for use in future events or its charitable programs.
- Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash equivalent unless otherwise stated.
7. Photography and Media
By attending a CCCTTJS event you consent to being photographed or filmed for use in VSLS and CCCTTJS promotional materials. If you do not consent, please notify organizers in writing before the event and we will make reasonable efforts to exclude you from media.
